Hi, My name is Alex and I started It’s Landscapable for one reason, to transform Asheville into a town of “Outsiders.” When I moved to North Carolina, orginally from New Jersey, I was amazed by the scenery. The views are just jaw dropping, the people are so friendly, and the food is delicious. I want everyone to be able to enjoy the outdoors and experience all that Asheville has to offer right in their backyard. Creating amazing spaces where friends and family can come together, eat food, laugh and enjoy the little things in life.

I have been landscaping since the age of 12 when I started with a push mower knocking on the doors of my New Jersey suburban neighbors. I eventually went to Rutgers (Go Scarlet Knights!) to study Landscape Architecture. After graduation, I sold my company and moved to Michigan to be with my fiancé while she finished her Veterinarian degree. While in Michigan, I worked for a high end landscape design build firm meeting with clients, drawing up their landscape plans and overseeing the installtion. While Michigan was fun and all, the winters were long and cold and just not for me. We loved the Asheville area and moved here to be closer to Family.

In my free time you can catch me outside enjoying the hiking scenes of Western North Carolina, ordering cawfee (that dang New Jersey accent) at a local coffee shop, and searching for that perfect slice of pizza that reminds me of the Jersey Shore.
